WHY DID WASHINGTON SIGN VOKOUN?!?!?!?

You may think " Oh he's a good goalie and they got him for a steal at 1.5 mill a year ", " They are now a contender ", " They finally have a good goalie! ", but there's no point in signing him. They already have 2 good goalies with great potential on there team, and now they are getting a third one??? GOALIES isn't washington's problem anymore, its their defense and lack of help on offense which is really what needs to be fixed. Their goalies played great during the season and the playoffs, but the team could barely get any goals during the playoffs. So basically your taking out Neuvirth and sending Holtby ( or the other way around ) down to the AHL which isn't going to help their confidence at all ( just look at Justin Pogge ), and your getting an old goaltender on his last legs to replace them? If this was 2 or 3 years ago this would make perfect sense, but now this is just a dumb deal. Coming from a die hard caps fan this is just a dumb signing.
