Is this a reason to end my friendship/love interest?

well, like you said you two arent technically together, and you are just his friend, for now. you have always been someone he could talk to, and all you are doing is showing him that he might not be able to be honest with you in the future. and you should atleast give him the benifit of the doubt, he might not have meant it that way. he may have been refering to his exs and not including you in the equation. if you two were together that would be a different story, but you are already showing how jealous you can be. my advise would be to treat the situation how a friend would. not like a girlfriend would. this person has been part of your life for a very long time. do you really want to ruin it, because i had a "typical guy" moment. he obviously has good qualities or you wouldnt have fallen for him in the first place.
