Should I have gotten more?

Always get more than you think you need. Substrate has a way of disappearing down the drains. I bought 145 pounds of Baylee's Better Bottom at a sale price. I choose the fine grain substrate, almost a sand. The plants and even the fish like it so much I wish I had bought more for changing over some of my other planted tanks. If I had bought 450 pounds of it, I know I would be using it all by now.
